Sometimes you need to get beyond the figures to understand the true story.
In Swindon we were able to document the journey from start to finish by inviting students to share their attitudes and perceptions before any Intervention and their reactions to the true findings.
We also took the findings out to the community to gauge public reactions.
Using best practice guidance from our partners at the University of Salford, the qualitative feedback sessions include:
- Student voice sessions
- Focus groups or group discussions
- Q&A sessions
- ‘Big Reveal’ sessions using visual displays
- Youth consultation events – putting them in charge of the delivery strategy
